The client wanted a painting that didn’t look like a photograph, and so after discussing some styles we settled on an impressionist interpretation to soften the look of this black and white cottage. By using warm tones, removing the front fence and adding some foliage the painting has a more homely feel. I triple mounted this work to give a great sense of depth.
