This very personal painting is a portrait of two very close friends. I have attempted to capture their personalities using a variety of techniques and colour interpretation. Influenced by the paintings of Henry Koerner this was an opportunity to experiment with colour and style to give the paintings a depth that would not have been achieved with a simple reproduction of their photographic image.
