Joe Skiing

I sketched this from a photograph of Joe (my son). I loved the way his giant helmet framed his face.  Also if you look carefully you can see the reflection of skiers on the mountains in his helmet. It has inspired me to do further work using reflections as an additional point of interest to tell a greater story within a painting.
